Using the term, “kick ass” in their initial inquiry, I knew Kara and Dan were a couple I wanted to work with. When I met them at their beautiful home for their consultation, they welcomed me in as a friend. They offered me a beer and even to stay for dinner if I chose to. Now that’s hospitality!

Whoa! What a vibrant personality Zoey has! She was all about singing and dancing about. I just love her funky outfit and her giant, furry, winter animal hat. This was definitely my most whimsical session yet. I was so glad to get some photos with mom too. Together, they were a blast and so much fun!

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when Kelly & Chip asked me to shoot their wedding day. I will say that they had me at dunk tank! They had a DIY/vintage/skater/fun park themed wedding in Millbury, MA that fit their personalities to a tee. Such a unique day and I was ecstatic to be a part of it. Congrats, Kelly & Chip! Also, big thanks to Ed Plante Photography for assisting me for the day.

All I can say about this Nov., 2011 session with the LaPointe Family is WOW! The second the kids jumped out of their parents car, they were ready to go! Thankfully, I had my camera fired up and ready to roll. It’s all about the moment and we got some great ones! The grounds at the Hyland Orchard in Sturbridge, MA had beautiful colors and great terrain to work with. Perfect for a late afternoon shoot. I posted a lot of photos from this session but I assure you it’s worth scrolling through them all. I promise! Enjoy.

Last fall, on one chilly, late afternoon, the Despotopulos Family and I took a trip out to Harvard, MA during a very intense sunset. I love how proud and passionate mom and dad are with their wonderful, playful kids! You can see it in their eyes. This session was so great!

I love walking into a home and seeing the amazing glow of new parents! Baby E was just shy of 2 weeks during this session. She was definitely a natural! It was such a pleasure to capture the pure love and joy that encompasses this great family.

The Freeman Family were very welcoming as my lovely assistant, Addie Jean and I piled up gear into their kitchen. Yes, the newborn shoot took place in their kitchen! I love turning rooms with the most natural light into a mini-studio for a newborn session. Hmm…maybe I’ll do a behind the scenes post for my next newborn shoot.

In October, while I was en route to meet the Marshall Family at the common in West Brookfield, MA, I saw how gorgeous the sun was setting over the Honey Bee Orchards. I just knew that this had to be the spot for their session. In excitement, I quickly proceeded to meet with the Marshall’s to express how perfect the lighting was over at the orchard.

I love doing my annual family shoot with the Young Family! This time around, we did the session during the Fall, outside of their wonderful Victorian home. It’s great to see how much their children have grown over time and experience their fun personalities! Once again, we had a wonderful shoot! I just love these shots!
